【REVIEW】Charity Visit

On September 28, Ms. Janet Lin, Ambassador of Foshan Open, Mr. Julian Small, General Manager of Foshan Golf Club, Mr. Vic Carder, Golf Director of Foshan Golf Club, and New World China Volunteer Team visited the Foshan Red Cross Hospital School.
Ms. Liang Xuying, Executive Vice President of Foshan Red Cross, and Ms. Fang Hua, President of Foshan Red Cross Hospital School, gave us a warm welcome and Ms. Fang introduced this unusual school to us.
Foshan Red Cross Hospital School
Established in September in 2010, Foshan Red Cross Hospital School provides free educational and psychological help for hospitalized students who are at the stage of compulsory education. Foshan Red Cross Hospital School aims to rebulid the students' confidence and relieve their parents' worry. Over the past 8 years, Foshan Red Cross Hospital School has been working hard for transparent charity income and expenses. All information can be found on the official website of Foshan Red Cross.
Then we visited the students of Foshan Red Cross Hospital School with Ms. Fang and other teachers. We joined the students' class, played with them and gave gifts to them.
Mr. Julian Small, General Manager of Foshan Golf Club, said: "New World China has been supporting Foshan Red Cross Hospital School since 2014. In August this year, a total of 20,000 yuan was raised in the New World Friendship Tournament, and another 20,000 yuan was donated by Foshan Golf Club. All proceeds are donated to the Foshan Red Cross Hospital School to help sick children with their education. I was deeply touched by the hard work of the Red Cross Hospital School in today's charity visit. This year, we will continue the theme of 'Love Life, Love Golf' and make 'charity' an important element of the Foshan Open. We hope that we can improve education for young people with the Red Cross Hospital School."
