WALKER WINS IN KAZAKHSTAN

England's Sam Walker won his second title of the season as he claimed a one-stroke victory at the Kazakhstan Open at Zhailjau Golf Resort.

Walker, who won the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge in August, started the day two shots behind overnight leader Jordan Smith, but carded a three under par 69 to secure his second victory in just six events.

After becoming the second person in the 2016 European Challenge Tour season to win two events, Walker has moved up to second place in the Road to Oman Rankings as he bids to secure a European Tour card for 2017.
