Wen Jun Yu Leading at Group A on First Day - 2015 Foshan Open Qualifier Round

2015 Foshan Open Qualifier started today in Foshan Golf Club. 110 junior golfers gathered and ran an intense competition. Weng Junyu, 14-year-old Cantonese player from Group A, scored 72 (even par) in round 1 and took the leading place. Liang Enqi, scored 76, rank the second place by 4 pars behind. However, Ouyang Tianpeng, the champion of the first Foshan Open Qualifier, scored 88 and temporarily dropped behind.

Weng Junyu, 14-year-old Cantonese player from Group A, scored 72 (even par) in round 1 and took the leading place. Weng has been playing for 10 years and it is the third time that he has participated in Foshan Open Qualifier. Under his hard training and the guidance of a Korean coach, he improved greatly and won several titles from different junior tournaments.

Liang Enqi is under his running-in period for he recently hired an American coach. Liang said that Foshan Open would be an amazing opportunity for him if he managed to acquire qualification.

2015 Foshan Open Qualifier has the best tournament cast and scale. For 110 junior golf players, the three-day agenda can be a challenge for physical strength and state of mind. Please stay tuned for more report from field.
