The GEO Sustainable Golf Seminar was hosted on the second day of the week with members of GEO Oncourse, experts, journalists, club managers and guests from all over the country visiting the Club.

The concept of sustainable development has been paid more and more attention due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It's not long since GEO has been introduced to China, but it has received responses from many golf clubs and 6 of them have been accredited by the organization. With the idea of protecting the environment, saving resources and supporting the community, GEO has offered a positive direction for golf development in China.

As a pioneer of sustainable development in the Greater Bay Area, the Foshan Golf Club has been accredited by GEO Foundation since 2013 and re-accredited in 2016 and 2019, becoming the first golf club to be accredited for 9 years consecutively in the area.

In addition, national flags of almost 30 countries were raised on the Practice Putting Green, and hole boards and tournament tees were placed on the beautiful course. The weather has been great and the green is fast. All these are to make people feel that they are playing in the Foshan Open!
