Shiwan Yubingshao Ladies Open First Qualifier is in the books!

The first qualifier of Shiwan Yubingshao Ladies Open was launched at Foshan Golf Club on July 27th. Nearly 50 golfers coming from different cities in the Guangdong Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay gathered at the Foshan Open venue, competing to win the qualification for the grand final on September 18.
As a promotion series of the Foshan Open 2019, Shiwan Yunbingshao Ladies open is hosted and sponsored by Guangdong Shiwan Wine Group and supported by Foshan Golf Club. The innovative event has been widely recognized as a great opportunity for ladies to make friends and enjoy playing golf together. The event includes two qualifiers and one grand final. Today's qualifier marks the official launching of Shiwan Yubingshao Ladies Open.

It was a joy to attend the Tee-off Ceremony held at the Club Putting Green around 13:00. Guests on site included: Ms. Zhou Wenyan, Party Secretary and Deputy President of Guangdong Shiwan Wine Group and Captain of Foshan Golf Association Yubingshao Ladies Team, Ms. Su Jianyuan, Guangdong Shiwan Wine Group representative, Ms. Linda Liao, Executive General Manager of Foshan Golf Club. Ms. Zhou Wenyan addressed, “I’m delighted to meet all of you at the scenic Foshan Golf Club. Since 2014, Guangdong Shiwan Wine Group has supported the European Challenge Tour─Foshan Open for five successive years. As an important partner of the Foshan Open, we work together and launch a commemorative liquor every year to convey our philosophy that “wonderful baijiu for a wonderful life“. With our deepen cooperation this year and with the Shiwan Yubingshao Ladies Open, we hope more ladies would love golf and our brand ‘Shiwan’. With the combination of golf, the healthy game, and Shiwan wine, we are sure to experience unique happiness. On the course we swing elegantly, and in our daily life we relish the fine Shiwan wine. I believe both golf and Shiwan wine can be an inseparable part of our beautiful life.”
After the Tee-off Ceremony came the competition and fun games, with many graceful postures and elegant swings which marked the uniqueness of this ladies' event. A few hours later, He Huilian, Wang Bing and Fan Guixiu emerged as standouts. As the Gross Champion, Runner-up and Third Place, they were presented with Guangdong Shiwan baijiu, Shiwan Yubingshao Cellar Series 12, and Shiwan Yubingshao Cellar Series 9. Adding to the many highlights was the "Happy Hole" on Hole 19, with 3 holes for option and a Nearest to the Pin award. Liang Jun, the winner, was presented with a bottle of 2018 Shiwan Foshan Open Commemorative Liquor, a Chow Tai Fook necklace, and an one-hour golf lesson with Vic Carder, PGA of America Member and Foshan Golf Club Golf Director.

Ms. Liang Jun recieved a bottle of 2018 Shiwan Foshan Open Commemorative Liquor, a Chow Tai Fook necklace, and an one-hour PGA golf lesson from Mr. Vic Carder, Golf Director of Foshan Golf Club.
To share happiness with more ladies, the Organizing Committee prepares a lucky draw for each qualifier, qualifying 12 lucky ladies to the grand final every time.
In the evening tea party, ladies enjoyed floral art performance and relished delicacies and Shiwan Plum Wines, sharing everything about wonderful life.
