Allianz Group Partners with Foshan Open, Enjoy the Joy of Golf to the Most

Since the first Foshan Open in 2013, the Organizing Committee has operated the tournament with elaboration and presented a terrific tournament every year. Due to five-year development, Foshan Open has evolved into a top annual sports event in South China, which has attracted not only the participation of brilliant golfers from home and abroad but also the support from many domestic and foreign brands. This process has enabled the tournament to expand into a more spectacular golf event.

Allianz Group, with a history of 127 years, has started to sponsor Foshan Open since 2016 and gained great attention from people. In 2017, the world-renowned insurance and asset manager, partners with Foshan Open for a second time in order to bring out the attractiveness of golf.

Since 2013, Allianz has organized the “Allianz Golf Master Camp”, providing an opportunity for golf lovers to capture the charm of the St. Andrews course and learn golfing after golf masters.

During 2016 Foshan Open, Allianz Group impressed spectators by bringing the authentic golf culture form Scotland, the cradle of golf. In 2017, the Organizing Committee launched the tournament theme of ‘Love Life, Love Golf’, which highly matches with the brand image of Allianz Group. Thus, we expect to combine our shared values with Foshan Open on the basis of prior close partnership to present a terrific golf tournament to our customers and expand our group’s influence.”
