Recently, Carabao, the famous energy drink brand from Thailand, announced the cooperation with 2017 Foshan Open - European Challenge Tour and China Tour. 

During the 2017 Foshan Open, Carabao will work with Foshan Golf Club to bring golf lovers perfect competition experience. From 2017 onwards, there will be a brand new section in the tournament, Carabao Iron Golf Challenge, which is a Par-3 Hole Challenge. Carabao will  award the champion with the title of "Carabao Iron King" and $ 20,000.

Carabao fully supports the Foshan Open - annual sports event in South China with its unique ingredients, rich nutrients, world-class manufacturing techniques, green and healthy products, and safety commitments, which makes itself develop into a new kingdom of energy drink around the world and helps to bring out the attractiveness of sports with energy.

Carabao was founded by Aed Carabao, a famous Thai folk singer, and Sathien Setthasit, an entrepreneur, in 2002. In 1976, Aed Carabao became famous for his touching song, Life Song. In 2017, Thailand’s Carabao Group and its Chinese investors jointly invested 1 billion US dollars to set up Carabao China. Cooperating with Foshan Open is Carabao’s latest move in China. 

When talking about the reason for cooperating with Foshan Open, Mr. Huang Qinjian, President of Carabao China Ltd., said, "over the past four years, I have come to Foshan Golf Club during the event, participating in and watching the Foshan Open. I was very honored to be invited as a guest to participate in Foshan Open Pro-Am Tournament.
